Ron Bailey

Ron is one of the country’s most experienced parliamentary campaigners, having secured over 25 changes in the law either via Private Member’s Bill or through amendments to government legislation. His role has been recognised on many occasions by MPs both in the House of Commons and elsewhere.

Ron has succeeded in getting Private Member’s Bills into law in each of the past three years. His motto is ‘politics is the art of the possible: campaigning is the art of the impossible’. Examples of past successes include The Home Energy Conservation Act 1995, amendment to the Environment Act 1995, the Wildlife and Countryside Act 2000, The Warm Homes Act 2000 and the Sustainable Communities Act 2007.
