The Royal Bath & West of England Show is the most prestigious countryside event in the UK, and has been a key focal point in fulfilling the Society’s charitable aims to encourage agriculture, manufacture, commerce and rural craft. In 2006 the Society launched a unique sustainability area at the Show, thereby becoming the first agricultural showground in the country to promote the environment, sustainability and a renewable future.

The brief in Year One was to help one of the principle supporters of the project - the Renewable Energy Foundation - attract high profile players in the energy sector to exhibit, which resulted in companies such as Worcester Bosch supporting the initiative. Following the success of the project, the showcase has been expanded in 2007 to create an ‘Eco Zone’ as one of the main features of the Show.

Our work now spans working closely with the organisers and REF to help obtain maximum visibility for participating key sponsors, secure additional exhibitors and achieve major national editorial exposure for the event.
